|Introduction to the Shop|

Welcome to Ealing Chimes Music Shop
(incorporating Michael White Musical Instruments)

Chimes Music took over Michael White Musical Instruments from Michael White on his retirement in October 2011. We are delighted to add the strong instrument sales and repair business, established by Michael over 30 years ago, to the Chimes family of shops and look forward to continuing this work and developing the business further in the future.

We are currently looking for new staff to join our team in Ealing

Thank you for visiting our website. We stock a wide range of woodwind and brass instruments, printed music, accessories and instruments. If you cannot see what you need on the site, please do not hesitate to call or email us.

Our repairers have several decades’ worth of experience behind them and can tackle any job for you from small repairs up to a full overhaul of your instrument all in our own workshop on the premises at our Ealing shop. Please call into the shop for a quote for your repair.

Another Range added to Chimes

In addition to JP instruments (see below) we are proud to now be a Yanagisawa dealer.  With a heritage of instrument-making in Japan that traces back to 1893, Yanagisawa is recognised today as a maker of the most carefully handcrafted family of artist-level saxophones in the world. In models ranging from sopranino to baritone, these superb instruments have won the praise of many celebrated musicians. The 901 series saxes, along with the SC991 curved soprano are in stock now, with further models to follow in the New Year. In the meantime, the entire range is available to order.   .

John Packer Instruments Now Available

We are pleased to announce that we are now stocking the John Packer range of instruments. A high standard of assembly, manufacture and materials means that JP instruments are not only designed to be reliable for many years, but also means that the instrument will always perform to a higher level than suggested by the price. Visit the instrument section of our site for more details, or phone the shop for more information.
