Sonatas for Violin (3 Sonatas), Op.post.137/1-3 (D.384,385,408) (Urtext). Schubert Three Sonatas "Sonatinas" Op.137 (Violin & Piano)
Nothing is known about Schubert's earliest works for violin and piano, the three sonatas in D major, A minor and G minor Op.l37 (D 384, 385 and 408), either from his own circle of friends, within which they may
have received their first performance, or from any other accounts. They were printed by the Viennese
publisher Anton Diabelli in 1836 under the title "Sonatinas". The sources for the present edition are the
autographs, which survive nearly intact, and the first printed edition.
