606 Club
Described by Jamie Cullum as London's best music venue
The 606 Jazz Club was established in 1976, is one of the longest standing friends or associates of Chimes Music. It features jazz, soul, groove, Latin, R&B, funk, gospel, blues and groove artists. 606 has live music every night of the week. The 120 seat Jazz Club Restaurant makes it a place not to be missed.
Addison Group of Singers
The Addison Group of Singers is dedicated to allowing people of all singing abilities to rehearse and perform music. Based in Hammersmith, London, the group has two classical choirs. The group comprises a large non-auditioned Oratorio Choir and a smaller auditioned Chamber Choir. Additionally, the Group has one of London's only choirs dedicated to jazz: an all-female, non-auditioned Jazz Choir. This is complemented by a mixed, smaller auditioned Jazz Ensemble.

Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music

Association of Teachers of Singing
The Association of Teachers of Singing (AOTOS) was founded in 1975, another long-standing member of the friends or associates of Chimes Music, to promote a wider understanding of all aspects of the teaching of singing. We create opportunities which bring together teachers from all over the world. All AOTOS activities and services are open to members specialising in teaching any expression of song: from classical, through music theatre and folk, to jazz, rock and gospel, either privately or in school, college or conservatoire.

Clarinet & Saxophone Society of Great Britain
Founded in 1976, the Clarinet and Saxophone Society was formed for the benefit of anyone who has an interest in the clarinet or saxophone and their repertoire. It publishes a quarterly magazine, organises regular conferences and workshops and runs an extensive music library.
The British Saxophone and Clarinet Congresses are held bi-annually and sponsored by CASS.
Susan Collier
Graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, Susan became the youngest violin professor in their Junior Department. She has been awarded an ARAM for outstanding services to the violin profession and is the creator and host of the podcast, ”Suzie Explores”
Constanza Chorus
Based in the City of London (another of our geographically close friends and associates!) the Constanza Chorus, a choir of around 130 members, is open to everyone, focuses on the greats of the choral repertoire, and is led by dynamic conductor and singer Joanna Tomlinson.

Leicester International Music Festival
The Leicester International Music Festival was founded in 1989. Nicholas Daniel, the oboe virtuoso, was appointed Artistic Director in 2003 and has been continuing the organisation since.
The Festival is largely a chamber music festival and is rooted in Leicester's strong musical tradition of working with the finest musicians and composers including the Leicester Symphony Orchestra with Sir Malcolm Sargeant, the Bach Choir with Kathleen Ferrier and the Leicestershire Schools Symphony Orchestra with Sir Michael Tippett. The festival continues to attract regional, national and international recognition for the high quality of its musical performances, for the world-class artists taking part and for promoting stimulating and sometimes challenging programming.
London Cello Society
The London Cello Society promotes the art of cello playing, preserving its great traditions while encouraging its continuing development. The Society exists for the benefit of cellists throughout the United Kingdom. It welcomes young students, professional players and teachers, amateur players and lovers of the cello. Members can hear the leading performers of the day, discover new repertoire and recordings, and participate in their gatherings. Friends of the Society enjoy benefits such as receptions, priority bookings and complimentary programmes.

One of the largest specialist music and performing arts institutions in the UK. LCM offers a range of innovative courses delivered with creativity and passion. As part of the University of West London it is respected worldwide.
London Docklands Singers
The London Dockland Singers is a friendly, medium-sized choir based in the Isle of Dogs, East London. Led by Andrew Campling they perform largely classical repertoire. Please see their website for details regarding joining.

The London Music Factory is a music school specialising in home tuition, providing cover for the whole of Greater London. Their aim is to provide a fun and productive learning environment focusing on a curriculum to suit each student. They also provide a free trial lesson to see if you get on with the tutor!

Richmond upon Thames Performing Arts Festival
Richmond Festival is one of the largest competitive festivals in the South of England with over 2500 annual entries and with many more people of all ages taking part, in groups and choirs and their enthusiastic supporters. It has some of the highest standards of amateur performance in the country with many of the young dancers, actors and musicians become professionals in their chosen field.
Royal Academy of Music
The Royal Academy's mission is to provide pre-professional, undergraduate and postgraduate musical training of the highest national and international standards, aiming to enrich musical culture by training and educating the most talented musicians. Founded in 1822 they aim to continue to develop in order to keep up-to-date with the ever-changing profession. Probably the longest standing member on our list friends and associates of Chimes Music, given that our founder was a student there!

Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama
The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama is the national conservatoire for Wales. It was founded in 1949 when it was housed in Cardiff Castle and, in 1974, moved to its purpose-built premises in the Castle Grounds, just a few hundred yards from the city centre.
With over 300 performances a year, there is a wide range of performance opportunities available in one of RWCMD's six venues, or further afield at venues in Wales, the United Kingdom and beyond.

The Strings Club

There are limited circumstances where copies can be used in an examination the UK. The MPA's Code of Fair Practice gives further guidance. Before making a copy an application should be made to the copyright holder. Evidence of permission should be brought to the exam. Candidates and Applicants must act within the law with regard to copyright.
