Candidates perform three sets of pieces, one from each group, using the listed publications. Dynamic markings (p, mf, f, crescendo and  ecrescendo) should be included in the slow tunes only. A minimum of two position changes are required at this grade. The performance  hould include examples of acciaccaturas, which should be clearly marked on the examiner’s copy. Contemporary set  tems are listed from slow to fast tempo, but may be performed in any order. An own composition may be played instead of one listed  set.
