The 12 Fantasias for Violin without Bass, 1735, officially display a repeated construction with many variations. Parts of the sonata, the concerto or the suite are taken up and cleverly juxtaposed with one another. The richly developed part in writing guarantees full use of the playing possibilities of the instrument.
