A setting of a text by William Blake from his collection of poems Songs of Innocence and Experience for SATB choir, harp and strings. The poem is a lullaby in which a mother hopes her sleeping baby's peace can proliferate to the rest of creation and is perfect for Christmas concerts. The work was written as part of Huw Watkin's Composer in the House residency with the Orchestra of the Swan in Stratford-upon-Avon.
