Bratschenschule Band 1
This method is written for anyone who wants to learn to play the viola without first learning the violin, in order to participate in ensembles and student orchestras as quickly as possible. It is aimed at adults and those approaching adulthood. The method focuses on the essentials and, despite its concentrated treatment of technical problems, emphasizes the importance of ensemble playing from the outset by including numerous duets by old masters and contemporary composers.
