Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is an award-winning video game, for which Jessica Curry wrote the much-lauded score. The composer writes that “the game is inspired by the ‘cosy catastrophe’ fiction of writers like John Wyndham, and is a story about the end of the world as experienced by a small village in rural Shropshire in the 1980s. But really it’s a game about love and forgiveness, and the small acts that define our lives.”

Dust & Shadow is taken from an early version of the game, and described by the composer as “perhaps the moment the music of the game really found its voice.”
