Easter Alleluia

Easter Alleluia was written for Matthew Owens and the Choir of Wells Cathedral, and was featured on Radio 4’s Easter Broadcast, 2005. From the solo bass narrative at the opening to the joyful and declamatory ‘Alleluia!’s at the close, Bednall demonstrates in this work his skilful handling of texture and harmony. This exciting work is ideal for choirs seeking contemporary repertoire for their Easter services.
