English Dancing Master, The (Selection).

Starting in 1651, John Playford curated dance instructions with corresponding melodies, which became known as The Dancing Master. They included traditional and contemporary themes with powerful and memorable Baroque melodies. This is a collection of arrangements for descant or treble recorder and piano accompaniment. The arrangements include an optional part for a second flute.
