Lantier Sicilienne for Alto Saxophone & Piano
Lantier (1910-1998) won the Grand Prix de Rome in 1937 and is remembered for a variety of works, most significantly his Sicilienne for Alto Saxophone and Piano. This is particularly useful in developing elegance and a flowing musicality. The varying styles, tempos, dynamics and rhythms throughout create an appealing work to performers and listeners alike.
