The Turbo Cabasa brings the classic cabasa sound to a new level that will cut through any sonic environment.

Equipped with a stainless steel ribbed cylinder with stainless steel beads and a padded wooden handle for a soft grip.

These percussion instruments may be played in a variety of ways from scratching the beads over the cylinder and spinning the cylinder to create a sustained rattle. Great for both live performances and studio recordings.

Available in three sizes: small, medium and large. (NB the pitch gets higher as size gets smaller and lower as you go up in size).

How?: rub, shake, spin, or tap the stainless steel beaded chain with your hand to get different sounds; behind the chain is a stainless steel ribbed cylinder that produces the classic raspy cabasa effect

What?: the chains aren't too lose or too tight so the beads move easily; their fluid motion allows you to be more expressive and accurate because you're not dealing with too much friction. The body (or chamber) is made of durable hardwood for warm tone, and the handle is padded with soft foam for comfort and control
