Mozart Violin Concerto No. 4 D major K.218 Henle Urtext
The violin part was published by Wolf-Dieter Seiffert, who published other Urtext editions of Mozart at Henle Verlag (including all sonatas for piano and violin, HN 77, 78, 79, 80). The cadenzas and introductions come from the Mozart connoisseur, violin virtuoso and university professor Kurt Guntner. The piano reduction was written by the Mozart connoisseur and continuo bass specialist Siegfried Petrenz. He aims for a good-sounding, technically not too demanding piano score, which stands out clearly from the widespread piano reductions oriented towards orchestral writing. This also takes into account the typical teaching situation, in which simpler sentences are often required.
