Description

This sonata is composed for Orff instrumentarium with the intention of offering the sonata form in a lively way. The allegro follows the classical sonata form: an exposition of the two themes, a development with the technic of question-answer and a re-exposition rich in instrumental colours. The andante, a minuet of quiet and elegant character, contrasts the more flowing and bright trio. The vivace, in rondo form, offers a symmetry between the merry refrain, coming again four times, and the verses.
