Mozart did not write a single work for clarinet and keyboard instrument. Stephan Korody-Kreutzer's arrangement of the Sonata in B flat major K. 378 fills this gap. In this form, it is one of his absolute favourite pieces and he often includes it in the programmes of his concerts. While remaining almost completely true to Mozart's original, his arrangement is yet oriented towards the specific possibilities of the clarinet.
