Description

Hasse originally composed this sonata for flauto traverso and harp in G major. As far as we know, Hasse never wrote anything for the clarinet. Thus, this transposition tries to make the clarinet player familiar with this composer. For clarinet-specific reasons it seemed sensible to transpose the work to F major. The sonata is well-suited for instruction focussing on stylistics.
