‘The Jazz Man’ is a lively and percussive work for unison children’s voices and SATB choir. Commissioned by the London Youth Choir, it was first performed by the choir on 22 November 2013 – the centenary of Britten’s birth. A spirited work full of bangs and clashes to delight young and old alike.
