This lively piece for unison children’s voices is a contemporary reflection on Benjamin Britten’s ‘The Useful Plough’, the ninth song in his well-loved Friday Afternoons set. Commissioned by the London Youth Choir, it was performed by them on 22 November 2013 – the centenary of Britten’s birth. A fun and appealing piece that is sure to capture children’s imagination.
