Harbison Violin Concerto
This work was composed in 1980 for Rose Mary Harbison and received its first performance on January 24, 1981 with the Emmanuel Orchestra, Craig Smith conducting. Difficult in nature, this work reflects the classical style but recasts them in 20th century terms.
