Wind Songs is a set of three songs for voice and viola which uses three Irish texts - one medieval, one traditional and one contemporary, to evoke three characteristic winds. The Wind Songs were written for and dedicated to Katherine Clarke as part of her "Singing Viola" project. She performs both parts simultaneously, viola and voice, but the songs can also be performed by two people.
